The equivalent UNS alloy designations are those of Table 1 preceded by A9, for example, A91100 for aluminum 1100 in accordance with Practice E527. 1.3 For acceptance criteria for inclusion of new aluminum and aluminum alloys in this specification, see Annex A2. Aluminum Alloy 1100 O, H12, H14, H16, H18, H112, or F temper Sheet, UNS Number – UNS A91100, Specification – AMS-QQ-A-225/1, ASTM B209, ASTM-B-209, EN573, EN485. ASTM-B-209, 1100 Aluminium Sheet Temper 0, H32, H34, H38 as per ASTM B209, EN573 and EN485 international standards. Specification Of Aluminium Alloy 1100 Sheets & Plates. The most common type is A91100 which is commercially pure aluminum. It is soft and very ductile, having excellent workability. Well suited for applications involving severe forming as it work hardens more slowly during forming. It is the most weldable of all aluminum alloys. Chemistry Typical. 1100 aluminium alloy is an aluminium-based alloy in the 'commercially pure' wrought family (1000 or 1xxx series). Http://www.hzsupport.com. With a minimum of 99.0% aluminum, it is the most heavily alloyed of the 1000 series. It is also the mechanically strongest alloy in the series, and is the only 1000-series alloy commonly used in rivets. At the same time, it keeps the benefits of being relatively lightly alloyed (compared to other series), such as high electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and workability. It can be strengthened by cold working, but not by heat treatment.[1]

Alternate designations include Al99.0Cu and A91100. 1100 and its various tempers are covered by the ISO standard 6361 and the ASTM standards B209, B210, B211, B221, B483, B491, and B547.[2]
